Glass Roof Conservatories

Tiled Roof Conservatories

With a superior thermal performance this conservatory has the ability to stay warm in winter and cool in summer.  A consistent temperature is maintained within the conservatory making it comfortable for use throughout the year. 

If natural light is an issue within your property there is the option to incorporate glazed roof vents without compromising the energy efficiency.

Interior is finished with plaster-boarding to really match in with you home and allows you to achieve your desire lighting withing the space

Orangeries

Orangeries differ from glass conservatories as they tend it have solid perimeter roof with roof lanterns to allow light in.  It is also usually made with a brick base and pillars with large glass casements between.

There is also an option to combine solid brick pillars with a performance glass roof instead of a lantern.

With an orangery extension you will receive impressive high ceilings to maximise space and thick pillars that provide grandeur and privacy.

The use of a lantern roof or glass roof floods your home with natural light and creates a stunning focal point of your home.  The lantern could be situated to produce a focal point to your living space, over a dining table or kitchen island.

Enjoy a warm and comfortable room, thanks to the market leading glass used in all of our systems. The glazing in your roof will limit solar entry and stop warm air from escaping, making our orangeries extremely heat efficient.

Roofs

Sometimes all that is needed is an upgrade to your current roofing system. Perhaps you have a glass roof conservatory that you would like to put a tiled roof on. Or maybe you would like to include a lantern style roof to an extension. Alpha Windows will be on hand to help with the various options that you can choose to revitalise an existing conservatory or include in your new extension.

Glass Roofs

By changing your old polycarbonate or glass roof to a newer style glass roof you will reap the benefit of the more modern energy efficient glass that is now used. This will help with temperature control so that you can enjoy your conservatory all year round. Special glass can also be chosen too which reflects and filters the sun’s rays keeping the room cooler.

Solid Tiled Roofs

It is important that when planning work you understand where building regulations might be necessary.  Normally conservatories are exempt from building regulations but it is best to check this in all cases before carrying out any changes to your home.
